The 2021 TLX Type S is powered by an Acura exclusive 3.0L V6 engine that makes 355hp and 354 lb-ft of torque. Also, our SH-AWD system, with true torque vectoring, distributes power to assist drivers in all situations. Featuring a chassis that is sport-tuned, Brembo brakes, and the Sport+ driving mode, makes this the most powerful Type S yet.
For style, the Acura TLX Type S is expected to have six available exterior color choices and three interior options. The brand-new Tiger Eye Pearl paint and Orchid leather seating are exclusives for the TLX Type S. Buyers get NSX-inspired lightweight wheels (featuring Pirelli P-Zero tires), the iconic diamond pentagon grille, and large-quad exhaust outlets.
For all of the power and the immaculate style the TLX Type S has, there is also impressive technology that’s installed throughout the model. Drivers can cruise in luxury with 16-way power seats (with adjustable side bolstering) and Type S logos in the headrests. Additionally, there is a TLX Advance Package that has lots of modern features, like the impressive ELS STUDIO 3D 17-speaker premium audio system.
