Bob Howard Acura is happy to help you custom order an Acura.
Previously, if someone was looking to make a custom-ordered vehicle purchase, it usually meant that it was a rare (and expensive) car or they wanted something very specific. Either way, buyers were happy to pay for the right to get something unique, despite knowing that it would take extra time to complete the special order. The appeal of purchasing a rare vehicle canceled out the extended wait time rather than just getting a new car from the local inventory. Fast forward to today, and the landscape has dramatically shifted. No longer are there rows and rows of new vehicles to select from, so if you want something unique, then custom ordering from the factory is your best option. If one needs a car immediately, then buying from the cars available on the lot now is still your best option.
The fun part of custom ordering your new vehicle is that you are able to choose just the technology you want. You can order your car with NAV, leather seating, and All-Wheel Drive, and it can even be your favorite color: blue! When buying from vehicles in stock, you might have needed to compromise on your wishlist depending on the available stock of new cars. You might be able to get all of the upgrades you wanted, but it was just in a color you don’t like. Or you could get the right color, but it had cloth seats, not leather. When you custom order, you get what you want.
Conversely, by ordering your brand-new car from the manufacturer, you don’t get stuck with the upgrade you don’t need. Perhaps you were looking for Navigation and All-Wheel Drive but didn’t care about the leather seating or vehicle color. To be fair, you might not be able to individually choose each option by itself, yet by custom ordering your brand-new car, you can cut down on the pricey upgrades. We do suggest that you review the option packages, as they often offer popular upgrades together at a discounted price.
If you know what you need, you can save time by ordering your vehicle. You don’t have to spend time test-driving different trim levels, comparing features, etc. All you have to do is schedule some time with one of our sales professionals, and they can educate you on the custom order guide and help you choose exactly what you need. When your new vehicle arrives, you can stop in, sign a few documents and leave to enjoy your new ride. The new standard in the car-buying experience is custom ordering.
